Description of Services:
Access to support at home or in the community * see separate program records
Services and Programs:
- Luncheon Club Program: Supported group for people who are socially isolated and/or physically frail
- Dementia Adult Day Program: Supports those living with dementia and other related cognitive issues
- Friendly Visiting by volunteers by phone, email or in-person
- Telephone reassurance calls by volunteers
- Service Arrangements and Coordination: help to find in-home services paid for by the client to help them remain living at home safely
- Transportation to medical appointments and adult day programs by volunteers and staff
- Seniors Active Living Centre: variety of courses, clubs, lectures, lunches for active and engaged older adults
- Caregiver support group: peer support with a volunteer
- Foot Care services by a nurse
- Massage Therapy by a RMT
- Acupuncture by a trained professional
