Description of Services:
9-8-8 is a suicide and emotional distress helpline for anyone directly experiencing or struggling with supporting a loved one. The responders with 9-8-8 will support callers through assessment, providing phone support in safety planning and emotional regulation. Where appropriate, referrals can be made to community agencies based on the needs identified in the assessment
Brief Mental Health Services provides brief mental health supports to individuals who are experiencing crisis due to mental health concerns or serious mental illness. Open to individuals whom are 16 years or older in Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough and Northumberland counties. Services provided include brief interventions to stabilize crisis and reduce mental health concerns and connection to appropriate longer term support.
Safebeds provides a safe and comfortable environment for individuals that are seeking support for their mental health. Safebeds provides a residential setting to support individual needs identified through assessments to create a care plan for their length of stay and supports received * Self referrals also accepted by calling 705-745-6484
