Description of Services:
The Oral Health Division of the Health Department offers:
  • Ontario Senior Dental Care program - covers basic dental care including examinations, x-rays, preventive services, fillings, extractions and denture care for eligible seniors.
  • Healthy Smiles Ontario program - provides free dental care to children and youth 17 years and younger. Services include x-rays, fillings, removal of teeth, cleaning, fluoride treatment, pit and fissure sealants and mouth guard fittings.
  • Dental Screening program - screening by dental hygienist offered once a year in all publicly funded schools.
