Description of Services:
Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for people with Alzheimer's Disease, dementia or cognitive impairment in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care * assistance with:
Activities include:
- toileting and personal care needs
- hot meal and snacks
- transportation provided through Durham Region Specialized Transit Services
Activities include:
- daily exercise
- wellness programs
- conversations and current event discussions
- arts and crafts
- games
- daily hot lunch and snacks
- outdoor programs
- gardening
- multi-age programs
- visiting pets
- music
- assistance with personal care
