Food safety: Reduces the incidence of foodborne illness (food poisoning)
Safe water: Inspect public swimming pools and spas to ensure that they comply with standards and regulation designed to protect clients from infectious disease, physical injury and drowning hazards * Additional inspections are conducted as necessary to follow up on directions provided to operators during routine inspections, and to respond to complaints
Health Hazard Investigation: Investigation of public health hazard complaints, residential air quality concerns, and clusters of non-communicable diseases
Outbreak Investigations: outbreak alerts
Tobacco Enforcement - From selling tobacco to underage persons to enforcing the Smoke Free Ontario Act
