Description of Services:
Community mental health agency * services and programs to people who are experiencing mental health or addiction issues
  •  
  • Addiction Services Outpatient counselling services for addictions and co-occurring mental health challenges *  focuses on changing the habits or behavior that cause the addiction in order to end dependence on drugs, alcohol, gambling or any other form of addiction
  •  
  • Counselling Individual and group therapeutic counselling for addictions and mental health clients * primarily short term, solution focused * if additional support is required at a later date, rapid re-entry is available
  •  
  • Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program PAR Program is a psycho-educational group which combines education and skills building to individuals who have displayed physically and/or emotionally abusive behaviours towards their intimate partners * 12-week program allows individuals the opportunity to learn new behaviours and responses, by providing the opportunity to examine beliefs and attitudes towards imitate partner relationships.

  • Supported Housing Residential Treatment Homes - offer long-term, abstinence based, addictions treatment for men and women. Referrals are accepted from across the province for alcohol and drug addictions
  •  
  • Vocational, Educational Opportunities for clients to learn and develop essential life skills for independent living * employment coaching * job-readiness * job search skills * assistance with resume development *linkages with volunteer positions within the community
