Description of Services:
The General Assessment Service provides psychiatric assessments on a consultative basis for patients presenting with a wide variety of psychiatric and substance use symptoms. Patients are assessed with a view to providing clinical care direction to the referring physician such as diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations or medication considerations. This service does not typically provide follow-up care, but can provide some limited short-term support on an individual basis.
