Eligibility / Target Population
People who are able to sit upright in a wheelchair and are not likely to be in need of medical attention during transport
Fees
Service - Flat fee for travel within Halton or West of Mississauga ($129 base rate + HST) * call for fee details

Burlington, Milton, Mississauga West, and Oakville * will provide rides from the listed areas to Hamilton and Toronto as needed
Description of Services:
Provides non-emergency assisted transportation for individuals who are physically or cognitively disabled * offers continuous companion services for individuals who may need additional help or supervision * wheelchair transportation staff all have standard first aid and CPR/AED level C
  • passengers are accompanied to and from their appointment and during the wait time
  • no wait times for pick up and return for appointments
  • will get passengers to their appointment on time and be there when the appointment ends
  • wheelchair can be provided if required
Transport services are for:
  • medical appointments
  • cancer treatment
  • dialysis
  • hospital visits
  • long-term care facilities
  • personal appointments
  • companion services
  • airports and train stations
