Description of Services:
Behavioural Consulting Services assists persons over the age of two years who have a developmental disability
  • focuses on the person's individual strengths and needs and utilizes the mediator model to teach new skills and work toward behaviour change
  • Behavioural Consulting Services staff also provide short term consultations and/or training in behaviour support strategies to individuals or community agencies
  • supports individuals in Hastings, Prince Edward, and Lennox and Addington counties
  • family or individual consent is required if the family is not making the referral
  • waiting time varies

AboutUs

We are a community support program for individuals over the age of two years who have a diagnosed developmental disability. Pre-school aged children who are at risk of developmental delay may be eligible for service. Such referrals are considered on a case by case basis.
